The best time for travelling for Khao Lak and the Andamanen sea is from November till April. The Novembers is the coolest month in the Thailand's south with day temperatures between 28 and 30 degrees, the night temperatures are as a rule 5-7 degrees lower.

The temperature rises slowly from November to April, so you can reckon with temperatures of 30 to 33 º C and sometimes with 35 to 37 º C after April. 

The monsoon time start in May with almost daily short cloudbursts, most in the evening, night and early morning hours till October. The temperature drops slowly in this time again to reach her deep stand in November once more. During these months the sea is restless and swimming is not recommendably and all diving schools are closed because the visibility under water is strongly reduced.
